  • Fresh or frozen fruit.

I like to incorporate chia with berries or cherries. Use fresh and frozen thawed in the summer, and throughout the rest of the year.

  • Something crunchy.

Perhaps such as coconut flakes, chopped almonds, or granola prepared from scratch.

  • Something yummy.

Drizzle on top of the maple a bit more. Honey also works.

Instructions

First and foremost, in a mixing bowl or mason Jar pour in your dairy-free milk, add the chia seeds, maple syrup (to taste), and vanilla. Stir properly to combine.

Secondly, cover and refrigerate overnight (or for about 4 hours). The chia pudding becomes thick and creamy. If not, then add more chia seeds, stir vigorously, and refrigerate for another hour or thereabout so.

Finally, serve with toppings of fruit, nuts and maple syrup as desired.
