  • 4 Boiled Eggs
  • 3 tbs Butter or 50gram margarine
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg (Optional)
  • 1/2 Cup Milk or 1 tsp powdered milk flavor
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/4 Cups Sugar
  • Vegetable `Oil for deep frying

  1. In a clean bowl, add the flour, baking powder, Nutmeg, sugar, powdered milk flavor, salt, and mix thoroughly. Moreover, some people make Nigerian egg roll with yeast, but for this recipe, I used baking powder.
  2. Add the margarine or butter and mix well until the mixture looks like bread crumbs. Add a little water and continue mixing until you get a sticky dough, but not watery.
  3. Sprinkle little flour on a flat table (work surface) and place your dough on it. How to make sweet egg roll Knead the dough and add more flour in case the dough is too sticky.
  4. Next, cut out a bit and roll out with a rolling pin. Place your boiled egg on the dough and wrap the egg with the dough. Fry till a golden brown color appears. Your eggrolls are now ready to eat.
