How to cook corn on charcoal Grill
Ingredients
- 6 fresh ears of corn
- Native pear ube or coconuts
Ensure you get already matured corn cob that is fresh from the farm or buys from the market.
Roasted corn in the husk is equally achievable using the charcoal grill or oven, simply toss the corn in the husk into a charcoal grill or oven without peeling off the husk (skin) and allow cooking for about 15 minutes.
How to make roasted corn at home
- First of all, get your charcoal grill and heat it up
- Secondly, peel off the husk, and then place on the grill hangers
- Thirdly, immediately the corn starts turning brown while some parts are getting darker as a result of the heat touching the corn, turn intermediately.
- Continue to turn until all the sides of the corn is well cooked and brown, all this process takes between 8 – 10 minutes to roast 3-4 ears of corn on a charcoal grill oven.
- Finally, remove from heat and transfer to a flat plate ready to be eaten
Serve with native pear (Ube) or coconut.
