Soya bean milk is a nutritional milk drink that can be taken in place of dairy milk. Soy milk has replaced the normal dairy products especially for those who are lactose intolerant in several homes. How to Make Homemade Soya Bean Milk Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of soya beans
  • Sugar or Dates,
  • Vanilla Flavor or milk flavor (optional)

Instructions

  1. First of all, pick the soyabeans by removing discolored beans and any other particles; thereafter, soak it overnight with enough cups of water (above the beans) or for about 8 hours.
  2. Secondly, drain the water the next day and wash off the skin after that you blend it to smooth texture
  3. Thirdly, use a muslin cloth or cheesecloth to strain the milk; then pour it into a clean big pot and boil. Ensure you consistently stir the milk to avoid pouring out when it has reached the boiling point; at this point your delicious thick soy milk is ready.
  4. Finally, allow to cool and add sweetener of your choice and flavor to give it more taste. Some like it sweetened while some prefer it plain. It depends on the category you fall in. { some prefer the milk flavor or dissolve view spoons of powdered milk and pour into the soya milk it’s optional}
  5. The remnant should be poured in nicely clean containers and preserve in the refrigerator for at least 2 to 5 days. Please do not take it when it has gone sour- it should be discarded once you notice that. This can only occur when you don’t put it in the fridge immediately.
