How to Make Baked Salmon Recipe in Oven


  • 1kg salmon fillets cut into 4 pieces
  • 3 tablespoon unsalted butter or Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper
  • ½ teaspoon seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  1. First of all, prepare your racks at the middle of the oven, and then preheat oven at 400ºF. Finely line the baking sheet with foil paper or with a baking paper. Spray olive oil on your baking sheet, and then set aside.
  2. Secondly, with a sharp knife, cut into 4 pieces, and season with salt on both sides.
  3. Thirdly, in a small pan place on low heat, dissolve the butter, stir in the onion, garlic, black pepper, chili pepper, and stir fry for 30 seconds; add your lemon juice into the mixture and remove from heat.{how long you bake salmon depends on the size and temperature at which you cook}
  4. Next is to brush the salmon with the spices mixed, ensure all is well coated with the marinade.
  5. Transfer to the already preheated oven and bake till it’s thoroughly cooked for like 15-20 minutes; you will notice that outer skin is easily flaked. 

Remove from heat and garnish with some slices of lemon.
