After being out under the hot-sun, coming back home to a whole glass of mango pineapple smoothie is one of the best feelings ever, meanwhile, it is very easy to make.

Basically, in Nigeria fruits like mango are usually seasonal, so, during this season of mango fruits, I love making a smoothie of all kinds using mango as the core fruit to mix with other fruits.

Mango pineapple smoothie is one of such smoothies that stirs up your taste buds, in the same vein, puts you on a very good mood.        

Similarly, mango pineapple smoothie is a tropical fruit which can be taken either as a perfect breakfast smoothie, stress relieving therapy smoothie in the afternoon or as sleep well drinks for the night.

Moreover, mango and pineapple fruits are good sources of antioxidant that helps guard against free radical from damaging the cells in the body and prevent the growth of cancer cells.

Furthermore, they are rich in vitamins C and A, on the other hand, mango is a low-calorie fruit but has high fiber; they both contain folate, potassium, magnesium, B6, zinc, and vitamin E.

Mango Pineapple Smoothie for Vegan

How to make this smoothie for vegans is just to replace either the yogurt or milk with plant-based milk like tiger nut milk, soy milk, or almond milk.

Personally, I make my smoothie without milk and it still turns out great, since I react to honey I use dates as good replacement syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 large size mango
  • 1 cup of pineapple
  • 1 frozen banana (optional)
  • ½ cup of water or milk

Instructions

  1. First and foremost, wash all fruits after that peel the skin of the pineapple then cut into chunks.
  2. Secondly, remove the seed of the mango then also peel the skin and cut into chunks
  3. Thirdly, pour all fruits and water into the blender and blend to smooth
  4. Finally, serve in a glass cup

Enjoy you tasty nutritious smoothie.
