Cashew nuts are the nuts extract from the seed of a cashew apple fruits, it is generally known as cashew and very delicious to snack on. Growing up was fun as kids we usually go for cashew hunt in the village, plucking of this fruit from a cashew plantation fondly called ((Agu cashew) is something we always look forward doing as kids.

The water/fluid from this cashew apple stains cloth so we are always very careful when plucking cashew apple fruits. First of all, we enjoy the cashew fruits and go back home with the seeds. The seeds are roasted on a charcoal fire, and then crush to extract the cashew nut.

The whole cashew fruit is useful both to our health and home because, the shell after removing the nuts is being used to make a fire for cooking, while the water from the seed is good for local tattoo though very painful.

Vitamins in cashew include vitamin E, K, and B6, in the same vein the minerals are magnesium, selenium, zinc, iron, copper, and phosphorus which is perfect for the body. The human body functions well as a result of the right nutrients.
